LIFESPAN CONCEALED BEAM SPLICE ASSEMBLY: Short Mitre 90-degree

The Lifespan Short Mitre 90-Degree Splice can be used to join 150 x 50 mm Lifespan beams or 100 x 30 mm Lifespan beams.

The Lifespan Short Mitre 90-degree Splice creates a clean right corner for your outdoor installation by providing a simple yet secure perpendicular attachment between two Lifespan beams along their short edge. After cutting your Lifespan beams to a 45-degree angle along their short end, slip one side of the Long Mitre 90-degree Splice bracket into the hollow chambers of the first beam and fasten the bracket to the beam with a screw on the top face of the beam and another screw on the bottom face of the beam. Next, slide your second Lifespan beam over the remaining side of the bracket and repeat the fastening steps to establish a reliable mitre joint for your project. Each Short Splice kit includes two brackets and eight dark brown fasteners.

The Lifespan concealed cross connection plate is suitable for use with Lifespan 100 x 30 mm and 50 x 30 mm beams.

The Lifespan concealed cross connection plate allows you to enjoy a fastener-free finished look for your Lifespan pergola by offering a secure, hidden attachment between your Lifespan crossbeams. The colour-matched powder coated and galvanised steel plate is first attached to the bottom of the pergola crossbeams and then to the top of your Lifespan support beam, allowing the crossbeams to sit atop the support beam while keeping the connection plate out of sight.

LIFESPAN CONCEALED CLIP-IN BRACKET ASSEMBLY

The Lifespan concealed clip-in bracket kit is suitable for 150 x 50 mm sized Lifespan beams.

The Lifespan concealed clip-in bracket kit makes installing Lifespan beams vertically or horizontally simpler and gives your outdoor project a more polished and professional final look. The concealed clip-in bracket kit includes a powder coated and galvanised wall mount which can be attached to a wall or post where the Lifespan beam will eventually be installed. The kit’s metal beam insert attaches with the fasteners included in the kit and is designed to fit within the hollow chambers of the Lifespan beam for a strong attachment.

LIFESPAN CONCEALED RAFTER BRACKET

The Lifespan concealed rafter brackets are suitable for use with Lifespan 50 x 30 mm and 100 x 30 mm beams.

Lifespan concealed rafter brackets offer a discreet yet long-lasting hold for your Lifespan beams and can be installed to support horizontal or vertical boards for more versatile outdoor project designs. The concealed rafter brackets sit within the hollow chambers of Lifespan beams and are fastened to Lifespan upright or vertical support beams with only one screw on each side to minimise the visibility of the fixing.

A set of concealed rafter brackets is fastened to the upright support beam. Next, the Lifespan beam is installed by sliding its top and bottom hollow chambers over their respective rafter clips. The clips are held in place with Z-point screw clips.

LIFESPAN U-BRACKET

The Lifespan U-bracket builds a stable and dependable connection between your Lifespan beam and substrate. First, fasten the U-bracket to your substrate. Then carefully pre-drill holes in your Lifespan beam to align with the holes in the bracket. Next, slide the beam into the bracket. Slip the threaded rod through the aligned holes in the bracket and beam. Finally, secure the bracket by installing and tightening the provided washers and nuts to both ends of the rod.
